Plain-English terms for using this site and ordering from Stoop. Last updated October 6, 2026.
Using this site
You’re welcome to browse and get in touch. Please don’t misuse the site, try to break it, or copy our work, writing or designs as your own. The case studies show work we’ve done for clients; their names and logos belong to them.
The 24-Hour Site
- Price. The price we agree with you is the full price.
- Payment. We plan your site with you on a call, then send an invoice. Payment is due before work begins.
- The 24 hours. The clock starts once your invoice is paid. Within 24 hours we deliver your site for review. If something important is missing, we’ll ask, and build with what we have.
- Launch. Your site is first delivered on a private development link for review and is never published straight to a live address. We only publish it once you approve it. Going live may need access to your domain or hosting, or a DNS change from you; we’ll guide you through it. Time waiting on approval or access isn’t part of the 24 hours.
- What we build from. We build from the answers, copy and files you give us. You confirm you have the right to use anything you send, such as logos, photos and text.
- Changes. Two rounds of tweaks are included when you review your site. Further rounds, or new pages and features, are quoted separately before we do them.
- No refunds. Work begins as soon as your invoice is paid, so all 24-Hour Site orders are final and non-refundable.
- What’s included. What’s included is listed on the 24-Hour Site page. Bigger requests are quoted separately.
Other projects
For other work, we agree the scope, price and timing with you in writing before we start, and those details apply.
Ownership
Once you’ve paid in full, the finished site and its files are yours. We may show the work in our portfolio unless you ask us not to.
Domains and third-party services
If we register a domain for you, we transfer ownership to you. Hosting, domains, payment providers and other third-party tools have their own terms and fees, which you agree to with them.
Liability
We work hard to get things right, but the site is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we’re not liable for indirect losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us for the work in question.
Changes
We may update these terms. The version on this page is the one that applies.
